Tyler Alpern is an artist and educator with a long association at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado. He graduated from at Occidental College, attended two different schools in Rome, Italy, and earned his MFA in Painting from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado. He describes his artwork as technically accomplished, narrative painting with an expressive style and a contemporary slant and is digitally archived by the Library of Congress. ÌýAt this university, Tyler has twice lead the Creative Minds Residential Academic Program, served on various A&S Committees and was given a BFA award for his leadership and service. ÌýTyler's expertise as a histoian is documented in many books, articles, and on broadcast media.
