S. Philip Hsu is a Professor at the Department of Political Science and Director of the Center for China Studies, National Taiwan ³Ô¹ÏÍø. He was president of the Chinese Association of Political Science (Taipei). ÌýHe obtained his doctoral degree from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Denver. His research interests include comparative politics (with particular emphasis on the People’s Republic of China), political economy, and international relations (with particular emphasis on Asia-Pacific international security and economic cooperation)
