Prior to teaching studio design at Georgetown ³Ô¹ÏÍø and in the environmental design program at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of ColoradoÌýBoulder, Scott spent a career in the design and management of the built environment as an architect, urban designer, plannerÌýand project manager. This work included both the private and public sectors, primarily along the Front Range of Colorado.Ìý ScottÌýstrongly believes that design must be in service of human and social needs, so design research is an essential component of success. HeÌýis a graduate of Yale ³Ô¹ÏÍø in New Haven, Connecticut.
