I started my PhD at the Թ of Colorado Boulder in January 2025. My research investigates soil rocking mechanisms and the development of earth pressures in soil–structure interaction systems subjected to earthquake loading. My work integrates centrifuge-based physical modeling in the CIEST Lab’s large geotechnical centrifuge and advanced numerical FEM simulations using OpenSees. Prior to joining CU Boulder, I completed my master’s research on optimization-based design of soil nail and prestressed anchor retaining walls. I also gained hands-on experience in concrete materials testing, contributing to a project on developing green concrete.
