I am a PhD student in Civil Engineering at Montana State Թ, with a master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Sharif Թ of Technology, Iran (2021). My research background includes experimental study of unsaturated soil behavior (inherent and stress-induced soil anisotropy using a dynamic hollow cylinder device), physical modeling of deep foundations (1g and centrifuge modeling), and computational analysis of soil–structure interaction (3D FLAC modeling). I am currently conducting centrifuge modeling of laterally loaded pile foundations in fine-grained soils with varying plasticity, using the medium-sized centrifuge at the CIEST Lab.
