A Commemoration honoring the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Publication of Vine Deloria, Jr.’s, Custer Died for Your Sins: An Indian Manifesto

We hope you were able to join us for a tribute to Vine Deloria, Jr.’s enormously influential book, Custer Died for Your Sins: An Indian Manifesto, and a recognition of the proud heritage of Vine Deloria, Jr.’s long association (as a recipient of a law degree and as a professor of history) with the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado. Presenters included a combination of people who knew and worked with Vine Deloria featuring his remarkable son, Harvard Professor Phil Deloria, and American Indian historians and activists inspired by his writings.
