David BaumgartenÌýhas been the County Attorney for Gunnison County since 1989. He has primary responsibility to provide legal counsel to the Board of County Commissioners, and to be the liaison with the community, federal, state and local governments, extractive, recreation, development and environmental interests. David also is a Commissioner on the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission. David is admitted to the bar in Colorado, Massachusetts, New York and several federal courts. David received his bachelors degree in social sciences in 1970 from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of California at Berkeley, his law degree in 1973 from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado, and a masters degree in education in 1979 from Harvard ³Ô¹ÏÍø.
