Maria is the Team Lead and Director of Storytelling and Communications for the Office of Advancement at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Boulder. Prior to joining Advancement, she worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions Marketing and Inclusive Communications in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at CU Boulder and worked in progressively responsible communications and marketing roles at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Denver for eight years. Maria has also worked in nonprofit development and is an adjunct faculty member for the graduate program in Communications Management at ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Denver.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in French, international studies and theatre from Loyola ³Ô¹ÏÍø Chicago and her master’s degree in international and intercultural communication from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Denver, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Greece from 2006–2007.
