Need help with your data? We're here for you! We host open, free consultation hours to help you with your data-intensive research needs. Come with your application, code, or general questions and speak to our experts on research data management, digital humanities, geospatial data, statistical support from LISA, and research computing.

Consults are open to all – from undergrad to faculty and beyond.

• Consultations will take place onÌýTuesdays from 12-1 p.m. in-person at Norlin Library, room E206 or via Zoom, andÌýThursdays from 1-2 p.m.ÌýviaÌýZoom only.
• Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. If you are unable to attend our consultation hours and would like to set up a call, emailÌýcrdds@colorado.edu.
• CRDDS provides support for statistical questions through our partnership with the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis (LISA).

As part of International Love Data Week 2026, we're holding our annual Buffalization Data Visualization challenge! To celebrate CU Boulder's 150th anniversary we're inviting you to use a dataset of historic campus buildings to create a data visualization with your preferred software or tools. Join the Center for Research Data & Digital Scholarship from Tuesday, March 17th - Thursday, March 19th, 10am-4pm each day, for our Research Data Foundations Camp designed specifically with graduate students in mind (although all are welcome). The Camp will provide a gentle introduction to data and programming-related research tools that will increase users' access to cutting-edge methods as they pursue their programs and research. No previous experience in coding or programming is required! Those who complete the optional assignments will be eligible to receive CU Boulder’s Research Data Foundations micro-credential. This is a virtual event that will be happening on Zoom.
