³Ô¹ÏÍø:
Siamak Mirfendereski earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he specialized in fluid mechanics, computational modeling of multi-scale hydrodynamics, electrokinetics, granular and colloidal suspensions, blood flow, and rheology. Before his Ph.D., he earned his M.Sc. from Amirkabir ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Technology and his B.Sc. from Isfahan ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Technology. Currently, his research focuses on colloidal transport, diffusiophoresis, flow instability, active colloids and droplets, and self-assembly, through creating and utilizing both computational and experimental models. Outside the lab, Siamak finds inspiration in playing Flamenco guitar, the thrill of a good run and biking, and the tranquility of mountain trails. He enjoys the simple pleasures of visiting cafés, getting lost in a book, and exploring the world through travel and music.
