Description:
David is a second-year graduate student in Civil Engineering visiting the IRI group to complete his masters thesis. He is from a small town called Massalcoreig, Lleida (Spain) and moved to CU with a scholarship fromÌýthe Europe-Colorado Program. He got his BSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Catalonia (UPC), Spain. During his undergraduate degree,Ìýhe did a studyÌýabroad at the City ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Hong Kong (CityU).
His research at the IRI group is focused on the influence of flooding events in pavement deterioration, which are becoming more frequent due to climate change and commonly go undetected for current data systems.
David loves to backpack when he travels and he enjoys cooking from all around the globe with friends. He also starts bouldering and getting used to the Colorado lifestyle.
