As-Needed Professional Services Program

The As-Needed Professional Services Program has been established to simplify the solicitation process for specific professional services on campus projects. Through a competitive Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process, selected firms have been pre-qualified and may be engaged and contracted without the need for additional solicitation.

Fee and contract value limitations apply depending on the specific professional service.

The As-Needed Program differs from theÌýAEC Directory ProgramÌýwhich is a list of architecture, engineering, and consultant (AEC) firms that are interested in working on campus. However, the AEC vendors within the directory are NOT pre-qualified and must be solicited using a standard solicitation process.

Currently Available and Upcoming As-Needed Professional Services

Pre-qualified firms have already been selected for the professional services listed below.Ìý

For Architecture, Engineering, Land Survey, Landscape Architecture, and Industrial Hygiene services, the fees must be < $99,999 to select from the vendors within the program.ÌýIf fees for any of these services are expected to exceed $100,000, an RFQ is required.

All RFQs for the As-Needed Professional Services Program are posted through CU BidNet.

Firms interested in future RFQ opportunities are encouraged to:

  • Register with CU BidNet
  • Select relevant professional service categories
  • Enable notifications to stay informed when new RFQs are released
