Congratulations to Dr. Ann Schmiesing! Her 2025 book The Brothers Grimm: A Biography has in recent weeks won two book prizes: the 2025 Wayland D. Hand Prize (American Folklore Society) and the 2025 Katharine Briggs Award (The Folklore Society, UK).
Dr. Schmiesing is Senior Vice ³Ô¹ÏÍø for Strategic Initiatives and Professor of German Studies.
