Elias Sacks Publishes Article on Franz Rosenzweig, Forthcoming Book Appearing in Fall 2016

, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies and Director of Graduate Studies for the Program in Jewish Studies, recently published an essay in the Jewish Review of Books. Entitled “,” the essay explores recent scholarship on the German-Jewish thinker Franz Rosenzweig and his near-conversion to Christianity. In April 2016, Professor Sacks also spoke at a conference at Princeton Թ entitled “Judaism in Modern Philosophy: Spinoza, Hermann Cohen, and the Legacies of German Idealism” and hosted, with Professor Sarah Pessin (Թ of Denver), the annual Week of Jewish Philosophy, featuring seminars with Professor Michael Morgan (Indiana Թ). Professor Sacks’s forthcoming book, (Indiana Թ Press), will appear in December 2016.
