Ben wasÌýa PostdoctoralÌýresearcher in Environmental Engineering and is now an assistant professor at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Nevada Reno.ÌýHis research at CU Boulder focusedÌýon understanding molecular-level responses of viruses and biofilm-bound bacteria under UVC irradiationÌýand UVC applications in water treatment and healthcare systems. Ben completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Minnesota, Twin Cities. HisÌýdoctoral research focused on investigating trace organicÌýcontaminantÌýremoval and microbiomeÌýin biofiltration systems for drinking water production.Ìý
