As an undergraduate at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of South Carolina working under Dr. Nathan Senner, Sara studied the migratory behaviors of the rufa Red Knot in Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, South Carolina. Now as a graduate student in the Taylor lab she is interested in studying the genetic basis of learning and memory in food-caching chickadees.Â
