Kellen Wilson joined Colorado Law in April 2026 as Director of Marketing and Communications.

In her role, Kellen leads a team focused on attracting and retaining top students, faculty and staff; building community within the law school and among alumni; and sustaining and strengthening the school’s strong local, regional and national reputation.

Since joining CU Boulder in 2016, Kellen has worked as Director of Executive Communications and Speechwriter for ³Ô¹ÏÍøs Justin Schwartz and Phil DiStefano and as Assistant Director of Communications in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

She previously worked as a reporter for a community newspaper and as public relations director for a nonprofit nature park in Western North Carolina.

Kellen earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she served as managing editor of The Daily Tar Heel student newspaper.
