The Oxford Handbook of Dravidian Languages, co-edited by Dr. Bhuvana Narasimhan and her colleague, R. Amritavalli, is now available online and will soon be available in print. The Dravidian languages of south India, spoken by approximately 222 million speakers across South Asia, was first recognized as a distinct group in the 19th century.
