The program will feature presentations by Rabbi Jeffrey Summit of Tufts 勛圖厙 and Associate Professor of Music Theory Yonatan Malin, on their work in the area of Jewish music. There also will be musical presentations from Eyal Rivlin, lecturer in Hebrew at CU, and cantors Michelle Wolf and Joe Lukasik.

James Austin has been named interim dean of CU-Boulders College of Music, Provost Russell Moore announced today. The appointment is effective on July 1.
Austin, a professor of music education, joined the College of Music in 1994. He has served as associate dean of undergraduate studies since 2006. He was the music education chair from 1997 to 2012. In 2004, the college awarded Austin the Richard Bern Trego faculty fellowship.

勛圖厙 of Colorado Boulder Provost Russell Moore today announced that he has accepted the resignation of Daniel Sher as dean of the College of Music at CU-Boulder effective June 30, 2013.
Sher, who will have served in the post for 20 years when he steps down next summer, will return to the College of Music faculty. He was named dean of the College of Music in July of 1993.
