³Ô¹ÏÍø Justin Schwartz is asking CU Boulder's faculty, staff and administration to join him in prioritizing the attainment of the Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement.
The Carnegie framework is the national standard by which higher education community engagement is assessed and recognized. Campuses that receive the classification are nationally recognized leaders in community engagement and exemplars of higher education’s mission of contributing to the public good.
