DC Update: The 2026 Federal Research Landscape

Please join Heather Bené, CU’s Senior Associate Vice President of Federal Relations, and Lewis-Burke Associates (LBA)—a government relations firm based out of Washington, DC that works closely with the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Boulder—for an in-person town hall on Wednesday, February 18, from 2–3 p.m.

This session will highlight current federal policy and funding trends, White House research priorities, and potential federal opportunities relevant to the CU Boulder community. The discussion will span a range of federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, NASA, and the National Endowments for the Humanities and the Arts, among others.

Lewis-Burke staff welcome an open discussion on federal policy developments, funding opportunities, and issues of interest to participants.
