Ms. Curtis who is graduating this spring with a minor in the Department of Religious Studies, has been awarded the 2013 Jen Hlavacek Award on Religion and Society from the Department of Sociology at the �Թ��� of Colorado.  Ms. Curtis will be a master’s student in the Department of Religious Studies this coming fall.

This prize was awarded in recognition for a research paper on the topic of free will that she submitted as part of her coursework in Professor Brian Catlos’ class: RLST 3000, Christian Traditions, in fall 2012. The paper received one of the four A+s in an extremely strong cohort of over 100 students.
