This weekend brings Sustainability Coffee Hour, anintroduction to beekeeping,CU on Friday, silent disco on ice, concrete canoe races,Les Miserablesat Boulder High, improv comedy and more.
9–10a.m. UMC 355
Wake up with a cup of coffeeand learn how CU is advancing sustainability initiatives and what you can do on campus. Bring questions, share storiesand network with others interested in making the CU Boulder campus sustainable.
1–5 p.m. Village Center
Learn about the incredible world of the bee, how to care for bees and how to encourage the multiple benefits of pollination and honey production in your backyard! This workshop will introduce keeping European honeybees as a backyard hobby including types of hives, what bees need and how to care for them. Admission is $15.
CU on Friday
4–6 p.m.
CU on Friday is all about bringing the CU community together! This month’s theme is Buff Madness—there will be a free-throw contest, nachos and bowling and billiards.Earn the chance to win a CU Book Store gift card! Join us for this fun UMC tradition, open tostudents, faculty and staff.
6–8:30 p.m.
Life pulls you down many paths that you simply could never predict. Being able to push back against hardships and adversities helps many continue on and prosper on their unique life journeys. Join us to hear ten speakers share stories of defeat, perseverance and growth. Free for all CU Boulder students!

Enjoy ice skating with friends at the Fri-Yay Nights silent disco—music will be broadcasted through wireless headphones. Skate rentals are free!
Saturday, April 6
9 a.m. to 3p.m.
Cheer on members of the CU Boulder chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers as they race their concrete canoe during the Rocky Mountain Regional Competitionat Boulder Reservoir. The event is open to the public, and admission to the reservoir is free for the day.
1–10p.m. Fiske Planetarium
Join Fiske Planetarium andSommers-Bausch Observatoryfor a full day of family-friendly activities including special talks, scale solar system tours, stomp rockets, comet labs, telescope observing sessionand light labs.

Extreme Bowling
7 p.m.
Enjoy the fun of bowling with black lights, colored lane lights and color pins. It’s the only “extreme bowling” you’ll find in Boulder—and it’s fun for everyone.
