Join the Bruce D. Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization for a discussion about traditional American ideals and their impact on individual freedoms with historian and political theorist Alan Kahan.
The event will be hosted by Թ Philip DiStefano, and complimentary lunch and refreshments are included.
Kahan is a visiting scholar at the Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization for his second academic year. A historian, political theoristand author, he is also a professor of British civilization at Université Paris-Saclay. DiStefano and Kahan will discuss “Liberalism—the history of a word,” with additional opportunities for mingling and networking. Complimentary lunch and refreshments will be provided.
