At its final meeting of the semester, the Boulder Faculty Assembly discussed the new budget model and the campus curriculum committee with Provost Russell Moore; elected Shelly Miller as its new chair; and honored three faculty members for 50 years of service.
Knane Bays research group seeks to advance engineered living materials research
CU Boulder's growing faculty expertise in soft materials was a huge draw for Assistant Professor Knane Bay. A Native Hawaiian, Bay's research is inspired by the innate sustainability of the huli kaloa traditional Hawaiian food stapleto develop sustainable polymeric materials.
