  • <p>The Թ of Colorado Boulder’s newest residence hall, Kittredge Central, is welcoming students this week for the first time, 53 of whom are engineering students and will be immersed in Spanish through the building’s new Residential Academic Program, or RAP.</p>
    <p>Also, the nearby Kittredge West residence hall is reopening this week after being unoccupied last school year while renovations were underway. Both buildings comprise a number of “green” features to improve water and energy efficiency and to reduce the campus’s carbon footprint.</p>

  • <p>The Թ of Colorado Boulder today announced that Ryan Chreist has been named assistant vice chancellor for alumni relations. Chreist, who most recently served as the director of recruitment, operations and system integration for the CU-Boulder Office of Admissions, starts this week.</p>

  • <p>The Թ of Colorado Boulder has been ranked No. 14 in the world on the scholarly impact of its journal publications, according to an analysis by the Centre for Science and Technology Studies at Leiden Թ in the Netherlands.</p>
    <p>The Leiden Ranking analyzed the 500 universities with the largest number of publications recorded in Web of Science, a database of articles published in more than 12,000 journals that is maintained by Thomson Reuters.</p>
