- At its meeting Sept. 10, the CU Board of Regents heard an update on enrollment numbers, named a chair to lead the search for a new system president, approved changes to tuition classification for American Indian students and more.
- Members of the Colorado Competitive Council visited CU Boulder and toured Fiske Planetarium as part of their annual tour for legislators, lobbyists and business leaders. ³Ô¹ÏÍø Philip DiStefano spoke with the group during the visit.
- The CU regents approved the disposition of more than half of the 308-acre CU Boulder South property to the city of Boulder for flood mitigation and preservation of permanent open space—a key stepping stone toward annexation of the site into the Boulder city limits.
- Effective Aug. 23, Katy Herbert Kotlarczyk will be the vice chancellor for advancement. The position collaborates with executive leadership, shared governance representatives and colleagues at the CU system and ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Foundation to set the strategic direction for advancement.

- Proposals include aligning undergraduate tuition by area of study and setting the guaranteed tuition rate for students entering CU Boulder in fall 2022.
- On a unanimous vote, the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Board of Regents on June 1 named Todd Saliman as the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado interim president. The appointment will begin July 1.
- CU Boulder Senior Vice Provost Katherine Eggert announced two finalists for the position of dean of undergraduate education and vice provost: Daryl Joji Maeda and Lori Poloni-Staudinger.
- The ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Board of Regents and CU President Mark Kennedy on May 19 agreed on the terms of Kennedy’s departure from the university, which is set for July 1.
