- Mark Kennedy spent his first official day as president of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado visiting the four campuses and meeting with a variety of students, faculty and staff.
- The ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s State Tour traveled 300 miles over two days last week to visit three Front Range cities and share how the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Boulder’s academic and athletic successes are tied to their communities.
- Jennifer Schufer and Jen Constable were intrigued. As leaders in CU Boulder’s Admissions and Strategic Relations and Communications offices, they had always thought of themselves and their teams as brave and efficient in their work.

- Senior Vice Provost for Academic Resource Management Ann Schmiesing has named E. Scott Adler dean of the Graduate School and vice provost for graduate affairs effective June 17.
- In May, the Research and Innovation Office welcomed James Olson as the executive director of national security research, a role designed to engage researchers across campus with federal and industry sponsors in this sector.
- The ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Board of Regents on May 2 named Mark Kennedy as the institution’s 23rd president. The board voted 5-4 to confirm him.
- CU Boulder named Cassell campus bursar and director of student business services, effective Feb. 18. He has more than 17 years’ experience in higher education, most recently at ³Ô¹ÏÍø of New Orleans.
- Both finalists for the dean of the Graduate School and vice provost for Graduate Affairs post will give open forums and meet in closed sessions with pertinent leadership and personnel this month.
