“Pictured is a small surf community outside of Tamri, Morocco. When traveling throughout Morocco, we stumbled upon numerous of these communities, literally the West coast. These collections of surfers generally travel and congregate in vans, buses and cars, which they have turned into their homes. A simple life, yet they make it their life’s mission to protect what they’re most passionate about: the deteriorating health of the earth. The ‘leave no trace’ mindset is backed with homemade signs and containers for recycling and composting. Inspired by the commitment of the Moroccan people, I have now assumed the role of taking on these traditions in the United States: bettering the health of the planet.”��Student Arts Program official selection 2021.��Located on the third floor, near room 352.
