Ìý Ìý ÌýWhile the ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado Boulder is the host institution for Detachment 105, you do not have to be a CU Boulder student to join Air Force ROTC! Detachment 105 maintains crosstown agreements with several universities along Colorado’s Front Range, allowing students from other institutions to participate in ROTC as cadets at the Home of the Thunderchiefs.
Ìý Ìý ÌýThis means you can be a student at, say, UCCS in Colorado Springs or Regis ³Ô¹ÏÍø, but still take ROTC classes and attend Leadership Laboratory (LLAB) each week at CU Boulder. As a crosstown cadet, you’ll register for AFROTC courses through CU Boulder and commute to Det 105 for your classes and LLAB.
Currently, Detachment 105 supports crosstown cadets from 9 partner institutions across Colorado:
- Arapahoe Community College
Ìý - Colorado Christian ³Ô¹ÏÍø
Ìý - Colorado School of Mines
Ìý - Front Range Community College
Ìý - Metropolitan State ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Denver
Ìý - Regis ³Ô¹ÏÍø
Ìý - ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado - Colorado Springs
Ìý - ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Colorado - Denver
Ìý - ³Ô¹ÏÍø of Denver
Ìý Ìý ÌýOur cadet wing includes students from across these campuses, making Detachment 105 one of the most diverse and geographically expansive AFROTC detachments in the country. No matter where you're studying, you can be part of our mission to develop leaders of character for the United States Air and Space Forces.
