Saddle up for the BBC Fundraising Stampede!

This year, were rolling out brandnew fundraising levels to celebrate and reward the incredible impact our riders make for the BBC Scholarship Fund. When you join the Stampede, every dollar you raise helps open doors for Colorado students to access a CU Boulder educationand the more you raise, the more you earn. Together, lets make this our biggest, boldest fundraising ride yet and create opportunities that transform futures.

2026 Fundraising Milestones and Rewards

Level 1 Raise $100 +

Reward: BBC shortfinger cycling gloves
Start your fundraising journey and earn a pair of highquality gloves perfect for training and event day.

Level 2 Raise $250+

Reward: Everything above, plus

Steps on How to Be a Successful Fundraiser

1. Create Your BBC Fundraising Page
Go to our . Select Become a Fundraiser and follow the steps to set up your personal fundraising page.

2. Personalize Your Page
Make your page your own!

  • Add a photo of yourself.
  • Share your story and explain why you want to raise money for the BBC Scholarship Fund, which helps students attend CU Boulder.
  • Tell people why this cause matters to you and what your personal connection is.

Your page already includes information about the BBC Scholarship Fund, including:

  • Celebrating its 24th year
  • Supporting 450+ scholars
  • Raising over $4.3 million

Youll also receive a personal fundraising link you can easily share with family and friends.

3. Make the First Donation
Consider making a donation to your own page. It shows your commitment and helps kick off your fundraising momentumthe fundraising has officially begun!

4. Reach Out to 510 Friends and Family
Start with your inner circle.

  • Send individual emails or messages.
  • Keep them short, personal, and genuine.
  • Include the link to your fundraising page (from RunSignup).
  • Remember: they havent been asked yet, and many people are happy to say yes.

Every donationno matter the amountmakes a difference.

5. Follow Up and Say Thank You
Thank everyone who donates and let them know how much you appreciate their support. Set a fundraising goal, track your progress, and remember: every dollar brings you closer to helping a student succeed at CU Boulder.
