EWB-CU Nepal has been working in Hattitar, Nepal for the past 5 years on a water collection and distribution system. The team has successfully implemented a clean, healthy, reliable system that includes tap stands next to each household. Overall, the system supports 109 community members. Currently, the team is in the stages of monitoring and evaluating this project to close it out. This includes providing officer trainings on the technical aspects of the system as well as providing documentation for the community to reference. This ensures that the system will work for as long as possible with the correct maintenance strategies. In the future, the team is looking to find a new project. These activities include evaluating current infrastructure, running several technical tests, and working and collaborating with the community to assess their needs. Ìý
