From Dean Adler: Congratulations for a semester well done

Dear graduate students,

As finals and the end of the semester draw near, I want to congratulate everyone on their hard work. This past year has not been easy, but you all have proved your perseverance, and I have no doubt that resilience will see you through.

To those that are graduating this month, I want to offer my sincerest congratulations. Getting past this finish line is no easy feat, and I’m proud to count you among our esteemed graduates.

I also want to encourage everyone to save the date for the Three Minute Thesis final competition, which will happen soon after we get back in the spring on Jan. 29. The competing students have been working tirelessly all semester, on top of their normal courses and research/scholarship/creative work, and this is their chance to shine. I hope you’ll consider joining.

As always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns. I hope everyone has a restful and rejuvenating holiday break.

Take care,

Scott Adler
