Event Net Proceeds and Tax Information:

100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Law Alumni Scholarship Fund (D-0038191). Funds are held by the CU Foundation pending distribution. The estimated Fair Market Value (EFMV) of the event is $159 per ticket. Sponsorships and program recognitions may be a tax‐deductible contribution for less than the EFMV of goods and services received, as follows: Platinum: EFMV of $3,140; Gold: EFMV of $1,570; and Silver: EFMV of $1,274. All gifts in support of the Թ of Colorado are processed and receipted by the Թ of Colorado Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable entity, Tax ID number: 84‐6049811. Please consult your tax advisor.

We welcome sponsorships from individuals and corporations. In light of IRS clarifications on charitable donation rules, the Թ of Colorado cannot accept sponsorships from donor advised funds, private foundations, or qualified charitable distribution from a donor’s IRA (QCD), unless the sponsor waives all benefits from the sponsorship, including attendance at the sponsored event.
