The Service and Social Action Living Learning Community (LLC), located in Darley North and South, welcomes first-year students from all colleges and majors. We seek to develop leaders and propel them into a life dedicated to equity-based social action through purpose-driven service, education, and reflection.

By joining the Service and Social Action LLC, you’ll be connected to resources and support, providing a high-touch experience to help you transition to CU. This inclusive community inspires action-oriented social change and facilitates critical reflection, paving the way for a future in public service and community engagement, and allowing you to immerse yourself in the greater Boulder-Denver community.

Each resident is supported throughout the year by one of our PALS (Peers Activating Leaders in Service). Whether it’s where to find the best food on campus, how to navigate difficult conversations with a friend, or any other way you need help during your first year, these PALS are here to support you!

Residents who join the Service and Social Action LLC will be expected to attend events, participate in our pre-arrival service-program, meet regularly with their PALS mentor, and follow community guidelines set within the residence hall. No service experience is required to join our community.
